What is a healthy community?

At Stockman Bank, we believe that no matter where you live in Montana, your community should enable you to live the healthiest life possible. This means working together to ensure we all have access to healthy food, stable housing, quality schools, safe places to exercise and play, and a strong local economy with good jobs and successful businesses.

Since our founding in 1953, we have recognized that a strong economy made up of businesses of all sizes, is the backbone of our communities. That’s why we are committed to serving Montana businesses of all types and sizes. From business deposit accounts and financing for start-ups, expansion, acquisition, and consolidation, to solutions that help better manage cash flow and operate more conveniently and efficiently, we work with local business owners to identify the best financial solutions for the full life-cycle of their business.

Working together to support local businesses.

Our commitment to Montana businesses also includes supporting organizations that work to build and grow strong local economies and business environments. One of these organizations is the Chamber of Commerce.

The first Chamber of Commerce in the United States started during the Taft administration in 1912. Since then, businesses of every size and industry, as well as trade and professional associations are U.S. Chamber members. More than 96% of U.S. Chamber member companies have fewer than 100 employees. Local Chambers often serve as the voice of the business community, offering programs and benefits for their members, as well as championing economic development and a favorable business climate.

Bringing together business people of all stages in their careers is what a Chamber of Commerce does well. Our bankers are involved with local Chambers on many levels from board Presidents to honored volunteers. We can’t highlight every Chamber event, volunteer or connection that Stockman is involved in but the photos and list below highlight the involvement of our Stockman Bank team.
